Kiel was the love of Gareth’s life. When he died, Gareth had no intentions of marrying another.  Now faced with an arranged marriage that will strengthen two kingdoms against their enemies, Gareth will do his duty but swears his marriage to Alric of Kray will be in name only.  Injured on a journey to visit his family, Alric’s secrets are revealed and Gareth learns that there is much more to the man he married than he imagined. And even though he vowed not to, Gareth finds himself falling for his new husband.

Alric is cursed, that’s the only way to explain the abilities he possesses.  He’s surprised that Gareth chose to stay with him after learning his secrets and he’s even more surprised when he finds himself wishing for so much more from his husband.

Awesome story!  When I see a Sara Bell story I know it’s going to be good and The Devil’s Fire is really no exception.  It has great imagination, action and a sweet love story.  As much as I like Gareth, it’s Alric who makes me love this story.  He is such a loving, selfless man who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders.  Gareth is good for Alric and helps him see his worth. The Devil’s Fire is a very entertaining story with a great ending and the epilogue is icing on the cake.  Reader’s looking for a sweet male/male historical fantasy with heroes who deserve the title and evil villains that deserve a fate worse then death will not be disappointed with The Devil’s Fire.
