Christy is stunned into silence by the
hunky man in line with her at her favorite Seattle coffee
bar. When he seems to show some interest in her, the
Spanish teacher is not sure what to make of it. The cowboy,
Adam, is one of the hottest men she has ever seen up close,
and he has a fantastic voice to go with it. Add to this the
fact he asks her out, and what more can a girl ask for?
When she has to turn him down due to a previous commitment,
he accepts and shows up at the dance class she is teaching.
The attraction between Adam and Christy
is palpable to all those around them. They are both finally
starting to think about a long-term commitment, and after
only one date. But then things take a huge turn for the
worse. Christy is doing her best “gay” friend a favor that
might jeopardize her future. What will happen when this
favor is revealed?
Tempting Adam helps to yet again prove that
lying will only come back to bite you in the end, no matter
how well-intentioned it might be. I thoroughly enjoyed the
interactions between Adam and Christy, as well as seeing
what Nate would try to work to his advantage next.
Additionally, Ms. Stevens did a wonderful job in showing how
a woman is likely to react to issues of internal conflicts
(bring on the ice cream), though I think I personally might
have had to kill Nate. I had to laugh at Christy as every
time she thought that things could only get worse if xyz
happened, it seemed that xyz would happen. Then again, Ms.
Stevens does a good job with Adam keeping things too close
to the chest and jumping to conclusions. I thoroughly
enjoyed this spicy and erotic tale. |
