Morgan is a career officer in The Fleet
and she loves her job. While she wishes for companionship,
she is also not willing to give up her career. The one man
she is currently “in lust” with is the one that she has
vowed to never have again. She has no desire to be another
in a long line of women that Commander Lawless leaves in his
wake.
Fleet Commander Jon Lawless doesn’t
understand why Morgan continually avoids him. It is not
like he took advantage of her the one night they wound up
together. In fact, she took something from him, his heart.
He can’t stop thinking of her, but if she avoids him how
will he convince her that his heart is hers for the taking?
A surprise asteroid shower will change everything. Morgan
and Jon wind up on the same escape shuttle and land on an
alien planet. Now they need to work together to survive,
and see if they are the only ones that did. Will things
change when they are forced to communicate and work
together?
Shipwrecked takes the idea of being
stranded on a desert island to a larger scope, and these
characters are stranded on an unknown planet. But, many of
the same trials and tribulations confront the characters and
Ms. Marquis does a fine job of including a foreign landscape
and habitat into the story. I enjoyed the interaction
between the main characters. Ms. Marquis did a wonderful
job of showing how impressions can lead to misconceptions
about other people, especially around topics that might be
uncomfortable to actually ask about. I enjoyed
Shipwrecked and think if you are a fan of Sci-Fi
erotic romances you will also. |
