Three years ago, Major Edward Louden knocked on Marnie Shelton’s door and told her that her husband Peter was killed when his plane was shot down. Marnie has tried hard since then to build a life for herself and her two young children.  When she sees Ed again her fear of losing another man to a military accident keeps her from getting close to him. Ed is planning to retire from the military soon and he wants to start a life with a wife and children. He wants Marnie to be that woman. He’s just got to help her see that their love is worth the risk.

Love is a Many Splendored Thing is a heartfelt story about finding love again. Ed is caring and compassionate and Marnie’s fears are understandable. She opened her heart again to the perfect man. Ed and Marnie are a loving couple and their story is very romantic.
