Alex Hitchner signed up to be a mentor
at St. Catherine’s Youth Club, a home for runaway teens.
Alex is hesitant. He’s unsure about what he’s gotten
himself into, but one look at Jamie Owens’ picture and Alex
knows he can’t leave.
Jamie needs a friend. He also needs
guidance and acceptance. Alex is torn between his growing
desire for Jamie and the commitment he made to help him.
Jamie’s constant flirting makes things harder for Alex.
Giving Jamie what he wants may be exactly what they both
need.

extremely well written story. Jamie’s longing and need is
easy to see as is Alex’s internal conflict. Conflict
of Interest is a powerfully moving story full of
angst and realism. It has ups and downs and the perfect
