Demanding careers and time spent away doing research make it difficult for the three lovers to spend time with each other.  So when Randy had to cancel out on Travis and Gordon because he was stuck in Brazil doing research, the other two lovers were feeling the loss of his presence.

Best Ideas is a good story, but I felt as if Gordon didn’t feel truly secure in this relationship.  Gordon, Randy, and Travis definitely have love for each other, and if this was a longer story where I could get a feel of them together rather than just this one brief occasion, maybe I wouldn’t get the vibe that Gordon was the odd man out.  With that aside, I did like it and thought Best Ideas was an enjoyable read.
