Raya was a spider-like creature transformed into a woman by the vampires she now lives with.  She longs for the touch of Alard, a half made, incomplete soul without a body.

Alard is in love with Raya and longs to make love to her.  So, for the sake of Raya’s happiness, Alard has decided to disappear.   But, the vampires offer a solution and Alard learns he might be able to gain flesh. 

In Search of Fleshis a tender love story with friendly vampires whose only goal is to help Raya and Alard to be able to fulfill their desires to make love.  Jennifer Cloud is very creative with the characters of this well paced tale.  Like a good friend, the vampires were there In Search of Flesh.  A good read, I enjoyed it.
