Shandra’s life has not been the same
since her best friend, Dashika McMartin, went missing. Her
desperation has hit a new low and Shandra hires Hunter, a
private investigator, to find her friend. Hunter is a
ruthless man who just doesn’t quit – not when it comes to
finding leads and not when Shandra needs some hard, raunchy
lovin’.
Hunter does find something, or rather,
someone, who can answer questions about Dashika - Mark Spirit
Talker. And maybe Mark can tell Shandra why he stars,
center-stage, in some of the sexiest wet dreams she’s ever
had.
Shandra is one tough broad who can take
care of herself, and then some. In her quest to find Dashika,
she finds herself involved with two hunkalicious men, Hunter
and Mark. The sex between them (one-on-one and ménage) is
smoking and Full Moon City explores the powers
of The Pack, which was touched on in earlier books. But I
just couldn’t get into this story. Beyond lust and the “pack
magic,” I didn’t feel any chemistry between Shandra and Mark,
and the attraction between Hunter and Mark didn’t click
either. Although Full Moon City is part of The
Pack series, it can stand alone. While not my favorite of Ms
Connor’s works, I think fans of this series will enjoy
Full Moon City. |
