Wolf-shifter Jessica is desperate.  Someone has placed a deadly curse on her, and the only person she can turn to is the powerful Richard.  She doesn’t trust him, but she has no other choice but to ask for his help, even though she knows he wants her.  Will she succumb to his allure, or to the deadly curse?

Cursed is an interesting paranormal tale.  The shapeshifters in Amanda Steiger’s book have many intriguing powers, and magic is a large part of their world.  Independent, tough Jessica makes a good heroine, and protective, mysterious Richard is a perfect match for her.  Although the actual curse-removing part of the story seemed almost anticlimactic, I enjoyed this story and would be interested in seeing more set in this world.
