Blythe Larson is in an awful predicament.
She has a charity event to attend on Saturday and no date. It
wouldn’t be so bad, except her ex-husband, “Dickless,” is
going to be there with his new wife and she knows he’ll try
and pull something. Something that, no matter what it is, she
really doesn’t want to have happen. Plus, to show up alone in
front of his already hateful family would be something she
just doesn’t want to endure. But after a talk on the phone
with her best friend, Paige, she’s cajoled into doing the
unthinkable—hiring an escort. She only hopes they send her
someone passable, but who she gets when she opens the door is
amazing. What is a girl to do when he turns out to be the
greatest thing since sliced bread?
Oh, wow. There are no words to describe
how much I loved/love And The Cradle Will Rock.
And yes, the male summary POV is conspicuously missing—and for
a damn good reason! There’s no way I’m dishing anything out to
even remotely screw up the story for anyone out that who plans
on reading this book. The whole thing was absolutely delicious
and damn, Shiloh is someone I wish I could meet “in real
life.” Wowzas! One little thing he did in particular regarding
Blythe’s tasty treat and how he fed it to her…watch out
