Matt Oliver
and Allie Quinn are FBI agents who are working undercover. As
Matteo Lombardi, Matt is a trusted associate of criminal Brian
Sumner. Allie plays his call girl bedmate, Samantha Shaw.
After Matt is shot by an unknown assailant, the two of them
are forced to work with fellow undercover agent Simon
Petrocelli. Will Matt be able to close the case despite his
reservations about having to share Allie with Simon?
A Real
Man is a book that would probably be best read after
finishing the other three Teamwork books. I understood what
was going on in the story without having read the previous
installments, but I think additional back story would have
helped me get into the story faster. That said, despite not
having read the other three books I still enjoyed this one.
A Real Man contains all sorts of hot stuff,
including ménage, spanking, and voyeurism. Matt and Allie are
both dedicated agents who are willing to do whatever it takes
to get their man. They also clearly have feelings for each
other. I was rooting for them to get their final assignment
done and be able to be together at last. Unfortunately, the
case in the story isn’t very well developed. Their undercover
assignment is wrapped up too quickly and easily. Still, if
you’re in the mood for a quick, hot read with some ménage
involved, A Real Man is a fairly enjoyable way
to spend an hour or two. |
