When Richard goes off to work, CJ sleeps in. When he wakes, he’ll do some things around the apartment or pick up some groceries until he can grab his board and go skateboarding.  That’s okay with Richard. He loves his guy just the way he is.

As unlikely a match as CJ and Richard appear to be in Skaterboy, they are great together.  They’re very different but their relationship works because they respect each other. Richard doesn’t try to change CJ, and CJ gets that Richard has a job to do. He may not always like it, but he understands. I like that Richard doesn’t try to change CJ. Richard and CJ are great guys. I wish Skaterboy were a longer story.
