Lark and Taran might have been raised by the same family and friends but they are not blood relatives.  So while they are each secretly attracted to each other, something that should be celebrated, Taran wonít act on the attraction as he feels that everyone, including Lark will see it as a form of incest. Lark wonít push things as she is not going to force herself on a man who doesnít want her no matter how sexy he is, or how good she thinks they would be together. Add to this the fact that Taran is a wolf shapeshifter who has finally recognized his life mate (Lark) and things could get interesting when Larkís life is suddenly in danger.

Kiss and Kin is a wonderful addition to the Shifting Dreams series.  I enjoyed seeing how Lark dealt with not only her narrowly avoided abduction but to the revelation she is Taranís mate, and how he handled telling her.  There is intrigue with the disappearances of women which is being investigated by Taranís law enforcement unit and this adds yet another facet to the story.  I think that Kiss and Kin is a wonderfully written and interesting read, and think you will also.
