Gabe has a second nature, that of a canine. Somehow as time has passed, he has never been able to tell the love of his life about it. Gabe and Hayden have been together since they were teens, and they are now in their last year of college. As things become more serious between them, Gabe decides he can no longer hide this other part of himself from Hayden if they are to move forward, sharing everything.

Unfortunately, before Gabe can tell Hayden about himself, an evil demon comes to town and changes things. Hayden, bitten as a child, carries a mark. Now Gabe must not only share his second nature with Hayden, but must help Hayden deal with his otherworldly half as well.

The chemistry between these young men is awesome. Add in the extra chemistry the non-human parts of them bring to the relationship, and things become explosive between the two. Anne Cain created hot, loveable, and charismatic characters in Second Nature. This is a story you’re not going to be able to put down. I couldn’t. Second Nature is an incredible addition to the Pawprints series and is a story you will not want to miss out on.
