Kathryn
Walker wants more out of life. She wants excitement, love,
and fantasy fulfillment, and she believes her opportunity to
have it all lies with Alex Brown, lead singer of a
well-known rock band. Attending a show headlined by the band
at a local club, Kathryn just may have her fantasy become a
reality.
Alex
Brown loves being a part of Dying Stone. They’re doing well,
and getting better all the time. Professionally, he’s
happy, but he wants more in his private life.
Melody of Love was okay, however, it didn’t
particularly hold my interest and I found the writing style
to be more geared toward adolescent romances than adult
contemporary. My opinion has nothing to do with the sexual
content of the story, but more so with the personality and
language of some of the main characters. It’s a sweet
story, but I couldn’t help mentally comparing it to the
stories I read in junior high school. Aside from the
psychotic behavior of Kathryn and Alex’s exes, Melody
of Love, although not my cup of tea, is a simple,
easy read for anyone looking for a book to relax with. |
