Having survived their encounter with a vampire swarm, Wild Bill and Michael decide to get out of town as fast as possible, but it ends up not being fast enough.  As they struggle to escape Michael becomes gravely ill and Wild Bill has to struggle with his pride to get Michael the help he needs.  However, as all this is going on, Wild Bill gets a tempting offer to change his vampire status.  Will Michael survive?  Will Wild Bill take the chance to shed his vampirism? 

Sweet Oblivion: Elixir offers a tentative conclusion to the Wild Bill and Michael saga with plenty of danger and love.  In this seemingly last installment, many of the emotions that have served as undercurrents in past books surface and become the driving forces behind Wild Bill’s actions as well as Michael’s response to the stunning offer of having Wild Bill “cured” of his vampirism.  As ever, Jordan Castillo Price’s talent shines as she takes Michael and Wild Bill and transforms them from funky Goth/Vampire mix to a true couple where their feelings are admitted if not out loud, at least in their own minds.  Don’t pass up this incredible conclusion in Sweet Oblivion: Elixir for a final wild ride into Wild Bill’s and Michael’s world!
