Victoria is being framed for killings
being done by a daytime vampire, but that isn’t her biggest
problem. She is also torn between Sebastian and Max. Still
not her biggest problem. She now has vampire blood running
through her veins. Not only must she find and stop the
vampire who can walk during the day, she must fight the
effects the blood is having on her before she becomes the
very thing she fights.
When Twilight Burns sucks
you in and keeps you in its thrall. Many people compare The
Gardella Vampire Chronicles with Buffy the Vampire Slayer
and I can certainly see Spike-like qualities in Sebastian
and Angel-like qualities in Max, but this series is all
Colleen Gleason. While some might draw comparisons there is
nothing like The Gardella Vampire Chronicles that I have
come across. Adding the historical element was just pure
genius.
When Twilight Burns has a lot going on and I
didn’t want it to end. Victoria’s struggle against the evil
in her veins kept me wrapped up in the story to see how Ms.
Gleason would play it out and she did a beautiful job. I
can’t wait for the next story in this wonderful series. |
