Ed Forebrusher was saved in battle by a unicorn. He also fell in love with the unicorn shifter that saved his life, and that is something he can never tell anyone. Now home from battle, he pines for the love and closeness he received from a man he has never even spoken to.

The Soldier And The Unicorn is an unusual story. Ed holds dear the time he spent with the shifter he fell in love with. Yet while they meet again and this story has the typical “and they lived happily ever after” I could not help but be sad for the family he cared for that seemingly needed to be left behind in order to be with his love.
