Hard work and a bit of luck have
brought recognition to goth band Gawth and hooked them up on
a solid gig accompanying another more well known band for
the next six weeks.
The band members are Cheitan or Chei
and Giovanni or G who are quietly out of the closet while
drummer Lilith or Lil is a transvestite. The guys aren’t
your average band members but they’ve been friends for years
and accept their differences.
Chei and G have had an on/off sexual
relationship for years but lately Chei has been wishing they
could become exclusive. But, when G announces he wants to
be exclusive with old flame Geoffrey, Chei is completely
floored. He realizes that he’s waited too long to tell G
how he truly feels. Can Chei step back and go on without G
in his bed or say something that could endanger their
friendship and their band? Either way Chei figures he’s
screwed.
The Band is an emotional
tour de force! From witty, sexy moments to dark and
dangerous times and back again. In the beginning The
Band is light, fun entertainment but once the layers
are peeled back there is so much more going on below the
surface. There are twists and turns galore on this emotional
roller coaster. The Band is well written from
scorching hot sexual encounters to dealing with possible
abuse although the climax is somewhat unexpected and abrupt
before all the questions are answered. Overall, The
Band is sexy and tumultuous enjoyment sure to please
readers. |
