When he should be celebrating winning the championship, quarterback Cache Garnett is laying in a hospital bed with a damaged knee watching his career being destroyed.  Ironically it’s not his knee that was bringing his career to an end. The story being circulated on every sports channel isn’t about the fact that the championship winning quarterback was in the hospital, the big news story was that the championship winning quarterback was gay and in a relationship with his professional rival Eric Patton.

Cache had to do some serious soul searching and decide if his career was more important than his relationship with Eric. His emotional struggles were the focal point of Quarterback Sneak.  Unlike Cache, Eric was comfortable with his sexuality and he wasn’t going to lie about who he was or his relationship with Cache.  Quarterback Sneak was a good story, and I liked it, but I would have loved more of a focus on the life Cache and Eric shared in the offseason.  Quarterback Sneak was a very enjoyable story and one I will be reading again and again.
