Hired to
find a woman who wasn’t lost and was definitely not
interested in being found by the man looking for her Jules
and Andre Deveraux were in for a surprise when they
encountered Angelica Humphrey. Finding Angelica in the
Louisiana bayou, Jules and Andre were instantly attracted to
the wildlife photographer.
When the
three of them get caught in an approaching hurricane Jules
and Andre take Angelica back to their cabin where they show
no mercy in turning on their Creole charm. Thoughts of her
stalker ex-boyfriend are quickly forgotten when Angelica
gives in to her desire for the Deveraux brothers, but
discounting her ex’s determination to find her may prove to
be disastrous.
Bitten in the Bayou is a very sultry story. The
Deveraux brothers were very attracted to Angelica,
especially Jules, and vise versa. The undercurrents of the
attraction between the three of them were quite strong, but
it was obvious whose hearts would be claimed along with
their bodies. I wasn’t very taken with the overall plot of
the story but I did find it to be entertaining, the Deveraux
brothers were indeed a couple of magical men. Readers
looking for something that will give them a fun and sexy
departure from reality for a couple hours Bitten in
the Bayou is a good choice. |
