Sarah is the new Daemon slayer in town. She didn’t apply for the job, she doesn’t like the job and she sure as hell doesn’t want the job. But it’s hers. Because Destiny says it is. Her “boss” Dorian is a cranky insufferable bastard that is also the hottest thing on legs and someone she’d rather be playing with in bed than hunting down Daemons with. A girl can never get a break, can she?

I enjoyed The Trouble with Destiny by J.K. Coi. The story flowed and the characters seemed to work well together. The heroine’s self deprecating attitude was entertaining and definitely worked within the story line. I will most likely look for more books by J.K. Coi.
