Lee and Chris have been best friends
since elementary school. For years, Lee’s allowed tattoo
artist Chris to use his body as a canvas, hoping that one
day Chris would see how he felt. Instead, he has to watch
Chris flit from guy to guy. It doesn’t bother him too much,
until Chris starts talking about tattooing his latest guy.
Will Chris ever see how Lee feels?
The Tattooed Heart is a
sweet little tale of unrequited love and the lengths people
will go to for love. Lee, the stoic, tough-guy best friend,
was so sweet in his gruff way I wanted to kick Chris for not
seeing how he felt. Chris is pretty oblivious. He doesn’t
see what’s right in front of his face until it’s well past
obvious. I was a bit disappointed in the way Chris finally
clued in, but for the most part The Tattooed Heart
is a sweet, quick, and enjoyable read. |
