Sierra knows it is time to make a big
change in her life but she definitely wasn’t ready for Luke
to show up at her door, or her body’s reaction to him.
While at her grandfather's cabin in Maine, she had counted
on some solitude and quiet while contemplating the next step
in her life. She was intrigued by the silver wolf that
seemed to be hanging at the edge of the clearing but never
enough to approach it. She definitely wasn’t prepared for
Luke and the wolf to be the same being.
Luke can’t help but approach Sierra
since his wolf has decided she is his mate. But, can he
reveal his secret to her and will she accept him for who,
and what, he is. Either way when the lumber people suddenly
seem to be taking things past calm offers he and his wolf
know they will do whatever it takes to keep her safe, and
figure the rest out later.
The fantastic start to an intriguing
shape shifter series is the first thing I thought of when
finishing The Edge of Morning. It pulled me
in at the start, and not just because I live in Maine, but
also because Ms. Holt has created another set of intriguing
characters. I look forward to the follow up story to
The Edge of Morning. |
