Freesia Daniels was a planner from day
one, much to the chagrin of her ‘laid back’ parents who
lived in one of the most notorious places on earth to be
‘laid back’. Therefore, they are not surprised when she
leaves right after high school to head off to the big city
of Boston, what they weren’t prepared for is to have her
show up one afternoon when she hadn’t been back home to Key
West for a while.
Freesia apparently did have a bit of
her parents rub off on her as she is booted from her company
due to the fact she actually possesses a heart.
She knows her parents will be happy to
see her and love her no matter how often she has come home
in the past. But, Zachery Grey will not be so forgiving.
How can a man easily forget asking someone to marry them and
then have her bolt the next day with no warning? She is
right, and now that she has returned years later he is still
hurt that she ran and apparently never looked back. Now
that she is home, for however long that is, she wants to
clear the air. When she means clear the air she doesn’t
mean with a hurricane, stranded on an island with him
though. So much for being the big planner.
Sunset Key was a very
fast paced action packed story from the start. I loved how
this writing team was able to pack the action and danger of
a hurricane into the story for us weather junkies, as well
as the ‘long lost lovers’ finally coming back together. I
found myself laughing and sighing at the same time while
reading Sunset Key. I look forward to more
stories from this writing duo.
