When Peter died, Jeremy lost his reason
for living and now he drowns his sorrows in whiskey bottles
night after night. Just when Jeremy thought he’d hit rock
bottom though, he finds enough strength to reach out for
help. The hand that takes his changes everything for him.
I expected Rock Bottom to
be emotional, but I was blown away by its poignancy.
Jeremy’s anguish over losing Peter is tangible. The pain
debilitates him, creating feelings of helplessness so
intense he can’t see his way out of his despair. In a
literary world full of wonderful sex-filled stories,
Rock Bottom offers something a little different.
The main focus is Jeremy’s personal journey toward
redemption. The ensuing romance between Jeremy and Adam is
subtle, but substantial. The small amount of sex in it,
however, is as powerful as some explicit erotica.
Rock Bottom will move you heart, body, and mind. |
