Taylor MacAllister and Will Brandt have
been friends and partners for the Department of Diplomatic
Security for a few years. They’ve been lovers for a lot
less. Their relationship is new and still feeling things out
between them, like the logistics of living together, or not.
Will and Taylor have a lot on their minds and now Taylor’s
faced with a past that’s come back to haunt him.
I wanted a sequel to Dangerous
Ground so badly and now that I have it, I want a third.
I got what I wanted from Old Poison. Will and
Taylor put me through the ringer emotionally and Taylor’s
predicament is suspenseful and thrilling. The tension that
built between Taylor and Will kept me on edge the whole
time. I was only able to breathe a sigh of relief at the
very end. I never doubted Will and Taylor’s solidity, not
really, but Will’s thoughts were making me sad and his
actions made me mad. Will and Taylor are so amazing in so
many ways, but lack communication bites them in the butt
sometimes. Old Poison has an interesting
mystery, lots of action, and all the angst I expected Taylor
and Will to put me through and because I’m a hopeless
romantic, I love the ending. I’ll never tire of reading
about Will and Taylor. They and their stories are full of
raw emotion and are sexy and exciting. |
