Hotel heiress Jada Danforth has had it
with the tabloids making a scandal out of her every move.
With the papers sensationalizing her taste for rabbit
dishes, all the men in Jada’s life are avoiding her like the
plague. Retail therapy is in order and a unique new shop,
Madame Periwinkle’s Erotic Delights, seems like the perfect
shopping destination. Even better, the shop’s unusual
proprietress has a whole different kind of rabbit that’s
just what Jada needs. What’s more, Jada’s new toy comes
with its own customer service number, which comes in very
handy when her new toy malfunctions.
Aidan Richards makes one-of-a-kind
pleasure toys for Madame Periwinkle and he’s used to
fielding customer service calls in the middle of the night.
What he doesn’t expect is the lovely and desirable Jada
Danforth to be one of his customers. There’s an immediate
connection between Aidan and Jada, but while lust is easy, a
relationship proves to be a whole lot harder. For Aidan has
secrets. Secrets it would be disastrous to have revealed by
the media constantly dogging Jada’s steps.
A sassy heiress, a mysterious hero, and
a one-of-a-kind adult store all combine to make a snappy,
fun story. What I enjoyed about Jada’s Rabbit Habit
was the titular heroine’s growth of character. In the
beginning of the story, Jada is spoiled and has a very small
world. I liked watching her expand her horizons and meet
people who were different from her. As for the man who
opens up Jada to seeing beyond the gilded walls of her
world, Aidan is every bit the sensual hero. His secrets –
and what fun would it be if I revealed them here? – make
falling for a paparazzi-hounded heiress the worst idea in
the world. Yet, the two lovers are so perfectly matched not
even the intrusive practicalities of reality can keep them
apart. All in all, I adored this sizzling addition to the
entertaining Madame Periwinkle series. Isabella Jordan has
delivered a gem with Jada’s Rabbit Habit. |
