Drummer for the band Firestarter, Jesse Eldridge is okay
with vampire Julian Kristados, but there’s one vampire he
just can’t get comfortable with, Gabriel Walsh. Problem is,
even though Gabriel gives Jesse the chills, the vampire is
always the feature in his erotic dreams in recent days.
There is something about Jesse that captivates Gabriel and
he just can’t let it go. Gabriel promises Jesse that he
will never harm him, that he is safe with him and will
protect him. Keeping that promise may be more difficult
than Gabriel realizes because a mage named Lazarus and the
demon Semoriel have plans for the pair and safety is the
last thing on their minds.
Bad Blood has a dark and brooding style
with a large dollop of passion. There’s a sinister flavor
throughout Bad Blood that will keep readers on
their toes. The characters introduced here in the first
book of the Spirit of Abaddon series are intriguing, but
this tale is over too quickly to know anyone beyond the
surface. We do, however, get enough in this chilling story
as enticement to look forward to more in the future.
Bad Blood is edgy and sexy and addictive. More
please. |
