Following the path of her father Shannon Mckee, Captain and
second in command at the Network takes her job and the
network very seriously. When the man who killed her little
brother years ago resurfaces Shannon’s desire for revenge
has her going undercover on what could be a suicide mission
to make drug trafficker Mareno Ortega pay.
The last
thing Shannon expected was to find herself in a love
triangle with feelings for a man she believed herself to
detest and fellow agent Commander Ron Blair whose concern
for her is more than that of co-workers.
Undercover Angel is another edition of this series
that played on my emotions as well as kept me on edge with
the suspense, drama and the adrenaline rush these stories
exemplify. Shannon’s hard demeanor was penetrated and her
emotions were spread thin between people she never expected
herself to care about. What I love about this series are
the strong women characters Karen Wiesner creates and
Shannon is one of her best. Undercover Angel
is the seventh installment of this series but as with all
the other books it stands alone. And as with the other
books nothing is ever as it seems. |
