“Twinkly Lights and Chicken Feet: A Vampire Christmas” by BA Tortuga

Christmas time in New Orleans means it’s time to decorate, and Remy gets into the holiday spirit.  But it’s his lover, Gryphon, who knows how to get creative with some ribbon.  Who knew decorating could be so much fun?

“Twinkly Lights and Chicken Feet: A Vampire Christmas” brings back the characters from BA Tortuga’s Long Black Cadillac as two couples, Remy and Gryphon and Clay and Vance heat up the holidays.  Even not having read Long Black Cadillac, I enjoyed this peep into the lives of its characters.  Though I found Gryphon, Clay, and Vance to be incredibly sexy, it’s Remy who stood out the most in my mind with his rather unique voice.  Entertaining and erotic, “Twinkly Lights and Chicken Feet: A Vampire Christmas” brings sparks and sizzle to the holidays.

“Exterior Decorating” by Julia Talbot

When Jared’s sister sends a package of ribbons to him, Jared knows his lover, Ames, is going to use the opportunity to rib him at every turn.  Ribbons all over the house, ribbons on the car, ribbons at the office…but Ames better watch out, Jared’s about to get even.

What happens when some practical jokes go a step too far?  Revenge, of course.  And who says revenge is best served cold?  “Exterior Decorating” shows what happens when payback is hotter than hell.  It’s a sexy look into the lives of two lovers who take stereotypical ideas about gay men and turn them on their heads for their own erotic amusement.  “Exterior Decorating” is both steamy and engaging.

“Wrapped in Ribbon” by Sean Michael

It’s Christmas and Dillon has a very special present for his lover, Dal.  Yards of ribbon, perfect for wrapping Dal up in.  It’s going to be a very wicked holiday.

“Wrapped in Ribbon” is a delicious glimpse into the lives of Dillon and Dal from Sean Michael’s Secrets, Skin, and Leather.  Though I haven’t read that book, “Wrapped in Ribbon” made me curious to see what came before happily ever after for Dillon and Dal.  This story was sexiness and sweetness all wrapped into one incredibly sensual package and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Toy Box: Ribbons shows just how naughty lovers can get with an innocent bit of ribbon.  All three stories are titillating with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor, which I found delightful.  Toy Box: Ribbons is sure to please.
