JD Andrews is headed to his parents’
lakeside cabin for a vacation when he gets lost, and ends up
being pulled over by a sexy cop. JD propositions the man
and gets a hot encounter he never expects to repeat. He’s
shocked when Officer Russ Seavers shows up at the cabin the
next day, but decides to go with it and have a summer
fling. Will JD get more than he bargained for?
Summer Fever is a cute, hot little tale of
what happens when plans go awry in the best possible way. At
times JD’s attitude toward sex and relationships was
irritating, but I liked the way his feelings for Russ slowly
evolved. Since the story is in first person, I didn’t get
to know Russ as much as I would have liked, but what I could
see from JD’s point of view was yummy! The only real issues
I had with Summer Fever were some unrealistic
dialogue and the too-quick resolution, which while sweet
could have been a lot more fleshed out. |
