Stillwater Springs Ranch may be home, but Logan Creed hasn’t seen it, or his brothers Tyler and Dylan for years.  Logan’s back intending to rebuild the ranch to it's former glory. Briana Grant is a divorced mother of two young boys. She lives in Dylan’s home on the property. Logan has come back at the same time Briana’s ex-husband Vance decides to finally pay a visit to the boys he left behind. Briana and Logan are attracted to each other but their lives couldn’t be more complicated. Briana has her boys, and Vance and his new wife to deal with, while Logan is attempting to mend the broken relationship with his brothers and deal with the pain of his father’s mistakes. Then someone makes it clear they don’t like or want Briana around. Even if they can sort through the mess around them, will they be willing to risk their hearts again?

Linda Lael Miller does an excellent job capturing the feel of the old west with her western historicals and, as such, is one of my favorite authors of that genre. Miller does an excellent job blending an old town cowboy in a modern world in Logan.  Briana is a cautious and caring mother and Logan is full of southern charm and chivalry. They have great chemistry right form the start.  Along with its emotional storyline, Logan has romance, suspense, and stars several wonderful characters such as Logan’s brother Dylan and Briana’s sweet boys- Josh and Alec. Fans of Linda Lael Miller’s work will love Logan, as much as I did.
