Adrian and Lal go on a cruise with their friends, Marty and James, over the holidays. Adrian would like to give Lal a very special gift and when he does it sends the little cat-shifter, Lal, racing away, scared.

A wonderful story about what communication and trust between lovers can ultimately mean. It takes Lal a bit to overcome his fear and face Adrian, but once he does and they get their feelings out in the open, the two men share an even closer bond.
