Former soldier Kenth has a new purpose: to lead his band of refugees away from the city to a new home.  They’re living in a cave and slowly forging a new life when Kenth accidentally traps something much larger than a rabbit.  He sets the dragon free.

Baen the dragon does not like humans.  He’s unhappy they’ve invaded his quiet sanctuary.  One human, the Healer, intrigues him, however.  Will this voiceless dragon find his match at last?

Dragon’s Devotion is another fascinating installment of Willa Okati’s Dragon series.  Kenth is a strong, honorable man.  Baen, the dragon, is mute, which added an interesting twist to their interactions.  As always with Ms. Okati’s stories, Dragon’s Devotion is hot.  There’s also a clear emotional connection between Baen and Kenth, making Dragon’s Devotion a very worthwhile read.
