Sela is a successful business woman
that knows what she wants. So why she agreed to come on this
fantasy weekend with her two friends is still a bit of a
mystery to her. But when her fantasy date stands her up, she
becomes highly annoyed, and his replacement, although
gorgeous in his own right, is the worst actor in the world,
which makes her decide she will continue the weekend on her
own.
Dan is flabbergasted. Not only has his
resort been insulted and berated, he has been turned down
for the first time in his life. He’ll be damned if he lets
this woman get the best of him.
I found Bonded by Ann Wesley Hardin an
interesting read. I wasn’t too sure about it at the
beginning, not liking Sela’s attitude or actions, but she
got much better. I found myself smiling and laughing at her
and “Jorge” and their interactions. I was pleasantly
surprised at Sela’s history, finding it atypical, and worthy
of sympathy. I was glad to see Dan grow and change as the
story progressed. |
