Eleanor Meyers is an undercover cop who
might have must worked her last case when she is busted by an
ex-con that she helped put away. She has been working on a
black marketing case involving illegal aphrodisiacs rung by
rung and while Eleanor is still close to the bottom of the
pile, she knows that just walking away is not an option.
Expecting her last breath to be at any moment, everyone in the
room is surprised when a android enforcer breaks in and
rescues her.
Proteus is a pleasure drone and has then
refitted into a Viper Series enforcer. His job simply put is
to find and kill the bad guys and to protect the police
officers. Proteus saved Eleanor and for the first time in a
long time felt something – lust for a woman. When a cut up
android is found, Proteus asks to be assigned to the case.
On mandatory time off and despairing of
ever being given a chance to show that she was not harmed,
Eleanor is given the case of a crazed serial killer of
androids. The only catch is that she has to team up with a
partner – the sexy viper that rescued her on her last
mission. Eleanor will do anything to prove that she has not
lost it to her superiors – even work with Proteus. Their
initial heat smolders and flames up quite quickly; Eleanor
discovers that some of Proteus’ best parts remain from his
time as a pleasure drone. All her adult life has been spent
as a cop and working within the book, however when Proteus is
taken will Eleanor stay within the book or break out on her
own to save him?
The Android’s Kiss combines
science fiction and eroticism in a very pleasing manner.
Proteus does not think much of sex after spending his prior
time as a pleasure drone. He is a viper series enforcer who
mostly fulfills warrants and carries out the sentence right
then and there. Eleanor sees herself as undercover cop first
and a woman second. Together Proteus and Eleanor discover an
erotic love that makes itself known, even as they risk their
lives.
Lovers of science fiction and eroticism
will want to have The Android’s Kiss on their
shelf. |
