Anthony is in Florence for a business meeting.  He cannot believe when he bumps into Christine, the woman he has been in love with for years.  Anthony knows this meeting only has the potential to end badly for both of them.

Christine is surprised to see Anthony, but she approaches him anyway.  Christine tempts Anthony back to her room where Anthony discovers some very interesting information about Christine.  When he confronts Christine she denies it at first and then runs away from him.

Anthony is resolved that this is going to be it with Christine—they need to break the cycle that they have created.  They simply do not bring out the best in each other.  Once he realizes that Christine needs help, he tries to help her out.  Will Christine and Anthony find a way to express their true feeling for each other?

The Streets of Florence is a story of two lovers who can never find the perfect time to be together.  Anthony seems to be a smart man who just sees something in Christine and he cannot move past it.  Christine seems to be a woman who does not really know what she wants except for in the moment.  I would have liked to see a bit more of the history between the two characters to better understand where they were coming from and I think I would have had a better time connecting with the characters.  I will be checking out more of Pepper Espinoza’s stories.
