After Lady Genneva Harrington told her brother, Charles, that Count Jean Pierre had broken their engagement, Charles took his pistol and left heading for the Count's home.  Genneva follows and arrives to find the count dead.  Believing her brother has indeed killed him, Genneva turns to leave the room bumping into notorious rake Nathaniel Grayson, Lord Blackborne on the way out. 

Nathaniel and Genneva become partners in solving the mystery of the Count’s murder.  Nathaniel wants Genneva in his bed, but practical and proper Genneva tries to resist.  As they get closer to the truth, danger surrounds them and Genneva finds herself in danger of losing her heart to Nathaniel.

Nathaniel is simply irresistible.  He is charming, handsome, arrogant, and witty.  Genneva is lovely. I loved that Nathaniel desired her over the other beauties he normally would have entertained himself with.  Love’s Wicked Jewel has a sensual romance, an exciting mystery, and danger around every corner.
