Emily
McCullen has secluded herself in her lighthouse after the
death of her beloved husband. Unable to forget the man she
loved so desperately, Emily and his best friend have agreed
to marry. When a stranger shows up on her doorstep, Emily
tries very hard to deny her attraction to this rugged man.
She has no idea that the deceased husband she loves so much
has suddenly risen from the dead.
After
months of hellish imprisonment at the hands of a person he
trusted, Steve McCullen has come back from the dead and he
is going to prove that the man he loved as a brother is also
the man who betrayed him. His wife Emily, however, is
caught in the middle. Steve is determined to keep Emily
safe, even at the cost of his life, the second time around.
Steve
and Emily are a couple that are so in tune with the other
that death couldn’t separate them. When Steve shows up, I
watched Emily struggle with her feelings for the man she
didn’t know was her husband. Steve struggled just as much –
their love was just as strong as the day they married.
Their love seemed almost pure in its intensity.
With a
totally cool plotline and a smarmy bad guy, Intimate
Stranger, is a romantic suspense novel that will
keep you on your toes dying to know what is going to happen
next. I found myself on the edge of my seat hoping and
wishing for a happy outcome – I got my wish. Don’t miss Jan
Springer’s Intimate Stranger, it rocks. |
