Fewer and fewer humans live in the town because of the rifts that opened to Vertigo and the various demons that dwelled there.  Demons came through to main, kill or drag humans back to become slaves in Vertigo.

Nicknamed ‘The Saint’ by the remaining humans, Simon Saint-Saens hunts nightly for demons and kills them with a very special sword.  Simon is also somewhat special with a quick healing body and superior strength.

Years ago, Simon rescued a young man named Jaden Cole from life as a slave in Vertigo yet turned Jade away once feelings of love entered the picture.  Jade is now back to warn Simon of a new threat, a deadly threat to Simon himself.  Even though Simon had once spurned his love, Jade must warn Simon because sometimes love never dies, no matter how many pieces your heart broke into.

Vertigo, the first book in the new Vertigo Chronicles series is a very sexy love story that unfolds surrounded by danger and deadly demons.  Simon and Jade are both incredibly sensitive and hot alpha characters.  The story has skillful pacing although I wished it was faster because I was eager to see what would happen next.  A steamy, yet tender tale with some bloody demon fights, I’m looking forward to the next book!
