A date with his favorite TV star is the best present anyone has ever given him or so Ben Searcy thought.  When Becca, his best friend and business partner, presented him with a birthday present she won for him, Ben couldn’t believe he was actually going to meet and have lunch with Mitch DeSantis, the star of Case Files.  Unfortunately for Ben, meeting Mitch didn’t turn out to be the great experience he hoped for, in reality the man he has fantasized about turned out to be a big disappointment.

Walking out on Mitch and the lunch, Ben was ready to put the bad memory behind him until Mitch came looking for him to apologize.  Alone and away from the cameras Ben, finds that Mitch DeSantis is more than he ever imagined him to be, and losing his heart to the TV star may be inevitable.

To the Highest Bidder was a cute story.  Mitch and Ben were sweet together, they were not a very exciting couple but they were sweet.  To the Highest Bidder‘s storyline is slow paced with no big surprises but Ben and Mitch did have a few obstacles in their way such as their past relationship scars and Mitch’s fear of being outed. I liked To the Highest Bidder, it was a nice and easy read with very likable heroes that will leave readers satisfied and happy.
