Sent to North Wales to rescue his
cousin Alexander Dumont from the clutches of the local
Abbey, Jeremy Waters arrived late in the evening and decided
to stop over at the local pub/inn for the night. On that
fateful night Jeremy met his future.
Grieving deeply for the loss of his
longtime companion, Grey Constantine is lord of the nearby
keep and landowner of the finest property in the area. Grey
has been nearly inconsolable over the loss of Rhys who was
not only his lover but helped Grey control his violent inner
demons.
The introduction of Jeremy to Grey was
explosive to say the least but Jeremy was intrigued with
this stranger. Not only did Grey need help with his vicious
rages but it seems his eldest brother, Marcus will stop at
nothing to take control of the land that rightfully belongs
to Grey. Jeremy wants Grey for his own but fears how Grey
will react to his greatest secret because Jeremy knows that
Grey is his, his mate for always and ever.
A stylish and sexy tale within a
historical setting, Through the Dark is
surefire entertainment. The writing team of Mychael Black
and Shayne Carmichael once again offers something special to
readers. Tortured Grey and complicated Jeremy make a great
pair of alpha males along with an interesting secondary cast
and one nasty villain to boot. I enjoyed the suspense as
well as the various plotline twists and turns, they kept me
glued to Through the Dark, a definite M/M
treat for the senses. |
