When Devon Hart, Prince of the
Vampires, is left to perish at the claws of the shifters, he
is taken to Vincent Sheridan, Lord of the Shapeshifters.
Instead of being adversaries, Devon and Vincent become
allies when they realize they have a common enemy. Joining
forces is far from common, but in order to save their races
they must. They may be able to fight together but can they
work out the differences between them and find love?
Lots of erotic moments and action-filled scenes fill the
pages of The Shape of Things. There is an
interesting dichotomy in Devon. He’s a sweet vampire Prince
and a good guy. Yet, he still kills and fights like the
best of warriors. Vincent tends to wear his heart on his
sleeve. He wants what he feels he can’t have. With such
intense chemistry, Devon and Vincent’s feelings for each
other are tangible. I was dying to see what kind of shifter
Vincent was. He is amazing! The sex is hot and the story is
dramatic in The Shape of Things. It’s
excellent. |
