Ever since Maria Talbuth discovered the
identity of the handsome stranger who lived in the apartment
across from her, she longed to have him in her bed, but
Dylan McKnight wants nothing to do with her in any type of
sexual manner. Maria is left with nothing but daydreams
about what could never be.
Dylan McKnight is a private
investigator. He's also a vampire, and to keep his
supernatural abilities under wraps, Dylan is very careful of
the human women he associates with – especially a woman who
could potentially capture his heart. Because of this, Dylan
avoids Maria’s sexual advances like the plague.
When Dylan discovers that Maria’s life
is in jeopardy from a dangerous stalker; he vows to put the
sexual chemistry standing between them on the back burner in
order to catch the crazed madman. Dylan soon learns that
it's easier said than done, because no matter how hard he
tries to fight it, his passion for Maria can no longer be
denied. Will Dylan be able to stop Maria’s perilous
pursuer? More importantly, how will Maria react to Dylan’s
thirst for blood?
The Moon was a fast-paced
thriller that kept me hanging on the edge of my seat with
great anticipation eager to uncover the mystery at hand and
to watch the development of the undeniable, smoking-hot
romance between Dylan and Maria. I must admit that author
Michelle Hasker managed to peak my interest with the
abilities of Maria’s stalker. I was totally engrossed, very
impressed, and a dull moment never found its way between me
and this story. Overall, I found The Moon to
be a fantastic, enjoyable read. |
