Andy
Payne decision to leave Jeb five yeas ago was a difficult
one but a necessary one. Now five years later he’s back and
finds five years away did little to diminish the attraction
he has for the small-town lawman. Seeing Jeb Law again,
Andy is afraid that once the secret of why he returned is
revealed any possibility of being with Jeb will be taken
way.
Jeb was
more shocked by Andy’s returned then when he left him all
those years ago. As much as he says he will not let Andy
back into his life he knows from the moment he set eyes on
him that he would be fighting a losing battle.
Lawless is a really good story. Aside from the
smoldering love relationship between Andy and Jeb, there is
also the beautiful relationship Andy has with sister. Andy
and Jeb were men with big hearts who cared about others and
helped others even if it meant sacrificing their own
happiness. There’s a very delicate subject matter
associated with the story that Flesa Black handled quite
well. It wasn’t the main focus of the story, but it does
make an impact. The rough, hot but very loving relationship
between Jeb and Andy made Lawless an enjoyable
read. |
