Twenty-Four and still a virgin, Joey blamed the small town
in Oklahoma where he lived for his lack of sexual
experience. Lymon, Oklahoma didn’t provide much opportunity
and absolutely no privacy for a young gay man still living
at home. Determined to explore his sexual side, Joey travels
100 miles to a well-known gay club in Tulsa. Walking
through the doors of the Club Maverick Joey’s sight was set
on Curt, the ‘walking wet dream’ of a bartender.
Joey’s First Time is a quick and cute read. Joey
and Curt’s relationship moved really quickly but I’ve come
to expect that with Carol Lynne books. I liked Joey’s
spunkiness and how Curt tried hard to curve his need to be
overbearingly protective and possessive of him.
Joey’s First Time is an enjoyable story and I’m
looking forward to the sequel involving Joey’s best friend
April. |
