Both their lives were touched by the same man. It seemed to be their destiny that lovers and business partners Mary and Laughtry lives would become intertwined. Years after Ray Blackheart has left their lives a large part of them is still connected to him.  Before Mary and Laughtry can move forward they need to find closure with Ray.  Traveling the distance from Tulsa to Oklahoma, Mary and Laughtry prepare to face Ray and confront their past in order to determine their future.

In between all the sex there was a very good story in Heart and Soul.  The characters were very charismatic and highly sexual.  Mary and Laughtry were very devoted to each other, but they also had insecurities regarding the other’s feelings where Ray was concerned.  Mary and Laughtry were looking for closure, but I’m not sure if they truly found it.  They did discover that they were each others heart and soul, but I still felt Ray held a large part of each of them.  Readers looking for an emotion filled, erotic and very sexual story will very much enjoy Heart and Soul.
