Eight years ago, Tempest Montgomery
allowed her father to control her life, and she walked out
on Josh Cress, the tattooed, pierced bad boy of the Cress
family. Now, however, her father has again made her do
something she doesn’t want, and that’s agree to marry
Phillip, a man she doesn’t love. Now’s she’s back looking
for closure with Josh, hoping to be able to forget him.
Dom Josh Cress has never forgotten
Tempest, and when she shows up at his birthday breakfast,
right after his sister-in-law does a Tarot Reading that
shows the Strength card, he’s not sure what to do. When she
says she wants closure he agrees to help her to that end,
but only if she spends two weeks as his submissive.
Tempest agrees, but once she’s had a
taste of Josh again, can she go back to Phillip?
Gentle Control is a great
addition to the Torrid Tarot line, and to Ms. Paulin’s books
on the Cress brothers. I enjoyed the chance to get to know
Josh better, especially his pieced, um, you know. His style
of domming was wonderfully portrayed, and he and Tempest are
perfect together. I especially enjoyed the ending, where
Tempest really comes into her own.
Fans of BDSM will enjoy Gentle
Control. Although this novella can be read as a
stand alone, reading the other books, either before or after
this one, will heighten your enjoyment of this book. |
