Vice cop Evan Cerelli’s wife Sherri was
killed in a car accident ten months ago leaving Evan alone
to raise their four children. Lost in grief, Evan meets Matt
Haight, an ex-homicide detective. The two become friends,
finding solace in each other’s company. They spend much of
their time drinking and talking until the wee hours. When
friendship becomes more, their lives are turned upside down
as they try to make sense of their feelings while dealing
with family, friends, careers, and grief. Is it love? Is it
lust? And is it strong enough to last?
Faith and Fidelity is a
love story full of heartfelt emotions. From the tragedy of
Sherri’s death, to Evan and Matt’s tumultuous relationship
and everything in between, Faith and Fidelity
is a story that leaves a lasting impression- a very good
one. The characterization is excellent in Faith and
Fidelity. Evan’s children, friends and family add
even more depth to the story. Then, there is the sex.
Enhanced by the emotions behind it, the sex between Evan and
Matt is explosive without being explicit. It’s loving, sexy,
and very, very hot. Evan and Matt’s bump in the road rocked
me a bit but I got over it fast because they make me so damn
happy. Not to mention that their happily ever after is very,
very, happy. Faith and Fidelity is fantastic.
